Aotearoa/New Zealand, Moko kakariki aka Jeweled gecko (Naultinus gemmeus) Populations of the Otago form of jeweled gecko are declining and their survival is dependent on conservation management. They are found in the South Island, from North Canterbury to Otago, and on several islands in Foveaux Strait.
