Silly Season is upon us!

Very excited to say I have joined up with 4 other artists at Emma Jean Gallery in Silverdale to bring 'Creatures' exhibition. I have 10 original Artworks along with some prints and greeting cards in the show. It's a nice mix of sizes, prices, and mediums, especially with the lead up to Christmas.
New Paintings
Finding the joy in playing with paint.
This year has seen my style evolve (especially after completing the Creative Visionary Programme June through to August 2019) as I add layers of paint, crayons, pencils, collage etc on canvas or cradled wood panel to convey stories and dreams. To view available paintings click here
Birdtober 2019
31 artworks were created during October 2019 as part of a challenge on Instagram called #Birdtober. Some originals are available here
These were created on acid-free watercolour paper which were painted with gesso, then a variety of mediums to create the colourful backgrounds and birds.
I have had cards made from these images which are available here. (& if you buy more than 6 the price drops per card)
Paintings on the move
I was so happy to have these 6 paintings (and 3 others) make there way north to 'No.1 Parnell Gallery' Rawene. So if you're passing through the beautiful Hokianga over the summer be sure to pop in and have a look.
Visiting art exhibitions in Auckland and Wellington
So much inspiration after seeing Frances Hodgkins @ Auckland Art Gallery and  Jacqueline Fahey's SUBURBANITES @ the NZ Portrait Gallery in Wellington.
Well worth visiting these amazing artist's exhibitions, especially when they have had a long and varied history, and created some incredible artworks.
