New things on the horizon.
For the past few year's I have donated a piece of art to the New Zealand Gynaecological Cancer Foundation (nzgcf). This is the piece I created for them to auction in their next fundraising campaign. It is called 'Life is for living' in honour of a very special lady Jo, who lost her battle to a gynaecological cancer last year. I would love you to head over to their website here and have a look at the great work they do. #fortheloveofwomen
As I write this newsletter I am in the 12th week of the ‘Art2Life Creative Visionary Program (CVP)’ it is helping me clarify and strengthen my art and the process with which I have been making it, and hopefully making art more and more like myself. I’m still in the ‘catch-up’ mode as I went on holiday for 2 and a half weeks in the middle of it. I’m loving the way in which we ‘play’ with paint adding layers to get interesting results.
The above painting is called 'The sparkling water of the Waitematā'
300mm x 300mm x 40mm on a cradled wood panel. Available here
'Concertina Feathers'
I'm deciding whether to have these frames made to hold groups of 8 different feathers. (I have 28 different feathers to choose from) The feathers would be printed and folded to give the illusion that they are floating. They look great from different angles, lightweight and can be hung on the wall or popped on a shelf.
Made of white acrylic 700mm x 110mm x 80mm
I would love your feedback and/or an email if you are keen to pre-order one or need more information.
More images can be seen here.

I have also added the feathers individually in a square format. Mix n' match to create your own group of favourite New Zealand bird feathers. Click here to look at or purchase some now.
Thanks for reading :)
